How do you keep all of those thoughts straight in your head? I've found that daily journaling has allowed me to set aside time for myself, with my thoughts. I choose to write three pages a day, as I have found that around the 2nd page I am able to clarify my thoughts and find solutions for what ever I was writing about that day. While everyone says that the "don't have the time", the truth is that no one does. We can find time, even taking the time for a 10 minute meditation or breathing activity can have dramatic improvements on our mindset throughout the day. Lets chat about some strategies that might work for you!
Learn MoreEveryone has a different starting point. Finding an activity you enjoy is far more important that doing something because your trainer told you to. I personally enjoy going to the gym daily and I am happy to share my knowledge and experience with others. However I also enjoy a good yoga session at home, walk outdoors, or day in the backyard working on my garden. From my own experience, I've found that when you enjoy what you're doing, you are far more likely to want to do it more. Sometimes that means doing a dance class at the local gym, or going for walk around your local park with a friend. Lets find some activities you enjoy and discuss how you can incorporate more of those into your daily routine.
Learn MoreMindfulness practices come in many forms and every person is going to find some practice more helpful than others. For me, a daily gratitude practice has vastly improved my outlook. I find myself now looking for things to be grateful for daily, in order to have something ne to write about the next day. Gratitude is a great way to bring our attention back to the present moment. Another great mindfulness practice that many people enjoy is practicing yoga, or even taking a mindful stroll through the woods. Since there are so many possible ways to practice mindfulness, there are likely ways you are already practicing this daily, without even realizing it. Lets bring our attention back to the present moment, let go of those things we do not have control over, and embrace the power we have within to create the reality we want to live in, one daily routine at a time.
